Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and dissemination of advanced reporting, dashboards and business intelligence deliverables to deepen understanding of clients and inform strategic planning.
  • Translate complex client behaviour, preference and purchase-pattern analyses into clear, actionable recommendations that drive measurable commercial impact.
  • Measure and analyse ROI and business results from client communications, events and campaigns; identify learnings and implement continuous-improvement actions.
  • Own the Client Insights function for the market: deliver analytical outputs, ensure methodological rigour and drive the end-to-end insights lifecycle from data to decision.
  • Ensure the quality, governance and integrity of client data used for analysis in collaboration with data owners and cross‑functional partners.
  • Lead strategic projects to enhance client understanding and optimise engagement initiatives, coordinating transversal stakeholders to convert insights into execution.
  • Collaborate closely with CRM/Client Development, Client Insights & Excellence at HQ (Paris), Digital Retail, Store Management, National Sales and Merchandising to align insight-led initiatives across channels and zones.

Qualifications

  • Advanced analytical expertise with a strong statistical background; advanced degree or equivalent experience in statistics, economics, data science, marketing or a related discipline preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate strategic and creative insights that translate into measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven project leadership with capability to manage strategic programmes and execute detailed analyses while maintaining analytical integrity.
  • Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (speaking, reading and writing) for international collaboration and local stakeholder engagement.
  • Highly client-centric, influential communicator with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to drive adoption of insights.
  • Proactive, self-starting, results-oriented mindset with the ability to operate effectively as an individual contributor.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in client insights, CRM analytics, customer intelligence or related analytics roles; experience within luxury retail, fashion or premium retail environments is highly desirable.
