Role & Responsibilities
- Define, implement and continuously improve a comprehensive information security strategy covering administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect enterprise systems and data.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) plans aligned with local regulatory expectations and Global HQ frameworks.
- Establish and govern a local security framework to ensure compliance with Korea’s ISMS/ISMS‑P requirements while harmonizing with global security standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits; act as primary liaison for internal/external auditors and regulatory authorities (e.g., MSIT, KISA, PIPC).
- Identify vulnerabilities and risk scenarios, design mitigating controls, and lead remediation efforts across people, process and technology.
- Lead end‑to‑end incident response activities: containment, forensic analysis, statutory reporting to authorities and executive reporting.
- Design and deliver security awareness, role‑based training and annual cyber‑attack simulation exercises for internal teams and third‑party service providers.
- Serve as the strategic interface between Louis Vuitton Korea, the Regional CIO and Global HQ; adapt enterprise policies to local statutory constraints and share localized threat intelligence.
- Report security posture, risk metrics and corrective action plans to the Managing Director and senior leadership; advise Legal, CRM, Retail, Client Services and IT on security implications.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in information security, information technology or related field preferred; alternative combinations of education and experience acceptable (see education).
- Minimum executive‑level experience in information security or information technology; total professional experience of at least 10 years with several years in senior security roles.
- Proven track record in security governance, incident response, audits and regulatory liaison within a large enterprise or complex retail environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Korean statutory requirements and experience interfacing with regulators (MSIT, KISA, PIPC) preferred.
- Professional certifications strongly desired: CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent; qualification as an Information Security Management System (ISMS) Auditor is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at board and executive levels.
- Strong analytical and risk‑based decision making in high‑velocity environments.

Executive‑level information security experience with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience overall and multiple years in dedicated information security leadership roles; proven experience in security governance, audits, incident response, and regulatory engagement within a multinational or retail organisation.
Education
Master’s degree in information security, information technology, or a related discipline preferred. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years’ relevant experience, an Associate’s degree with at least 5 years’ relevant experience, or a minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
