Role & Responsibilities
- Define and drive the financial strategy for Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America, aligning budgeting, forecasting and financial targets with long‑term business objectives.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting, financial reporting and internal controls, including inventory management and compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
- Lead internal and external audit processes and implement risk mitigation strategies to preserve the organisation's financial stability.
- Oversee logistics and end‑to‑end supply chain operations (imports/exports, warehousing, distribution and reverse logistics) to optimise cost, service and inventory flow.
- Provide executive oversight of Information Systems & Technology support services to ensure reliable, secure and scalable IT infrastructure.
- Partner with the Country Manager and senior leadership as a strategic advisor, delivering data‑driven financial analysis and recommendations for key commercial and investment decisions.
- Drive continuous operational improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce costs and enhance organisational performance.
- Negotiate and manage vendor relationships and onboarding to secure advantageous terms and service delivery.
- Develop, coach and mentor the finance and operations teams to build a high‑performing, accountable and growth‑oriented organisation.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and external stakeholders (LVMH, auditors, financial institutions, landlords) to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent (BS in Accounting/Finance).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with substantial experience in retail and/or multinational companies.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication across all organisational levels.
- Proven track record of leading finance, logistics and IS&T functions or multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Strong integrity, sense of urgency and results orientation with demonstrated ability to identify financial risks and commercial opportunities.
- Advanced problem‑solving, project management and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience with leadership responsibility; mandatory exposure to the retail sector and/or multinational corporate environment. Demonstrated experience overseeing finance, logistics and IT/IS functions and working with auditors, legal counsel and corporate stakeholders.
