Louis Vuitton Central Procurement Officer position in Malissard, France. Permanent CDI role managing supplier relationships and inventory optimization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Anticipate and adapt purchase orders to supplier capacity constraints, managing demand variations and ensuring optimal material availability for manufacturing facilities
- Monitor active purchase orders, resolve anomalies, and respond to urgent supply disruptions with agility and commercial acumen
- Analyze inventory levels and balance stock availability against surplus minimization to maintain optimal working capital efficiency
- Mobilize supplier resources for rapid capacity solutions when manufacturing constraints arise
- Coordinate daily communications with flow teams and suppliers to align material requirements and adjust demand schedules
- Collaborate with central planners and distribution planners to ensure coherent and synchronized supply flows across all touchpoints
- Foster proactive supplier partnerships and establish collaborative dynamics to strengthen supply chain reliability
- Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance overall performance and stability metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum Master's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or business (Bac +5 equivalent)
- Confirmed experience of at least 3 years in procurement within industrial manufacturing environments or operational supply chain logistics
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP, Excel, and advanced data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Deep understanding of manufacturing flow management principles including Kanban, work-in-process, and push/pull methodologies
- Proficiency in MRP calculation parameters and logistic data configuration
- Experience animating and tracking key performance indicators such as supplier service rates, manufacturing ruptures, and inventory turnover
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration in complex, matrix-driven organizations

Experience
Minimum 5 years of confirmed experience in procurement or supply chain operations within industrial manufacturing environments, with demonstrated success managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating cross-functional demand planning initiatives.
Education
Master's degree or equivalent (Bac +5) in supply chain management, engineering, or business administration.
