Role & Responsibilities

  • Negotiate contractual conditions including purchase prices, costs, delivery terms, lead times, capacity, and supplier investments
  • Select new suppliers with risk management focus, evaluating capacity, reliability, quality, and growth potential; support raw materials research and sourcing teams
  • Assess suppliers based on production capabilities, quality standards, organizational structure, confidentiality compliance, and innovation capacity
  • Ensure suppliers comply with Corporate Social Responsibility standards, ethical code acceptance, group purchasing terms, and technical and chemical specifications
  • Prepare and maintain framework agreements and seasonal raw material forecasts; verify delivery timelines and order fulfillment while balancing allocation priorities
  • Plan macro-level purchasing to align order issuance with business requirements, available budget, and finished product pricing policies established by marketing
  • Support quality control and industrial developers to prevent delivery delays; intervene directly in critical situations

Qualifications

  • Secondary school diploma or degree in economics or sciences
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leather and textile sourcing, preferably in footwear sector
  • Strong negotiation capabilities
  • Team-oriented approach with objective-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and decision-making autonomy
  • Willingness to travel, particularly within Italy
