Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prepare annual budgets in alignment with corporate instructions, providing analytical support to department managers in their budget formulation
  • Monitor business trends, economic conditions, and retail market dynamics to support strategic planning activities
  • Execute expense and capital expenditure controls through purchase order approvals and monthly variance analysis between actual performance and budget/forecast
  • Conduct inventory, gross margin, and profitability analyses in collaboration with store and back-office management
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and financial reports for Louis Vuitton Japan and Louis Vuitton Malletier management
  • Perform monthly accrual versus forecast analysis and respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from Paris headquarters
  • Support store investment appraisals and internal audit initiatives across the retail network
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls and company regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business planning and control within multinational enterprises
  • Demonstrated proficiency with financial analysis and budgeting methodologies
  • Advanced competency in SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning software
  • Fluency in Japanese and business-level English proficiency
