Louis Vuitton Assistant Purchasing role in Paris; two-year apprenticeship in materials buying for women's ready-to-wear.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Purchasing Manager in materials sourcing and technical evaluation
- Manage fabric inventory (tirelles) and coordinate material arrivals
- Reference and technically evaluate fabrics; create and maintain fabric specification sheets
- Maintain consistent communication with the studio and workshop teams
- Coordinate supplier deliveries and manage vendor relationships
- Enter technical information into the management information system
- Support administrative and organizational tasks as required
Qualifications
- BAC+3/4 qualification or equivalent from a fashion school
- Prior experience or internship in purchasing, procurement, or materials development highly preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational and adaptability skills
- Demonstrated interest in fashion, luxury, and ready-to-wear environments
- Autonomous, dynamic, and solution-oriented mindset with service-oriented approach

Beginner level preferred, though prior internship or stage experience in purchasing or materials development is strongly desired.
Education
BAC+3/4 or equivalent qualification from a fashion school or related discipline.
