Louis Vuitton seeks Assistant Merchandising Manager in Shanghai. Lead women's shoes category with 6+ years luxury retail experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze product performance data including sales reports, sell-through metrics, transfers, and regroupings
  • Develop analytical and qualitative data sets for business reviews and strategic planning
  • Support Merchandising Manager in buying preparation including buying reports, market and trend analysis, and feedback to central office
  • Collaborate during showroom events through ideation and order input
  • Develop and deliver product knowledge training materials to retail stores with translation and instructional support
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure alignment and execution of global merchandising strategies
  • Assist Communications department with coordination and organization of seasonal previews and product launches
  • Work closely with Supply Chain on women's shoes automatic replenishment and inventory transfers
  • Support retail stores with product requests, training initiatives, and maintain regular communication through store visits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above; overseas background preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in merchandising, buying, or related product management function
  • Strong product sense with demonstrated fashion sensitivity
  • Background or expertise in footwear/shoes preferred
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Excellent analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and motivational skills
  • Professional presentation and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in computer applications and business software

Experience
