Louis Vuitton hiring an Assistant Merchandiser (Apprenticeship) in Paris to support EMEA merchandising — alternance starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support EMEA Merchandisers in the commercial animation and coordination of a defined product universe across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
- Manage daily information flows (newsletters, weekly updates) and provide ongoing support to country teams.
- Produce and maintain sales reporting, including weekly sales analyses, and prepare materials for showroom purchasing.
- Collect and synthesise product feedback (new launches and collections) and report market needs to central teams.
- Contribute to product and collection trainings: prepare content and co‑animate in‑store training sessions.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform merchandising decisions.
- Liaise daily with EMEA country teams and regularly with Central Merchandising and category merchandising teams to escalate product feedback and align on commercial priorities.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in a business or fashion school, or equivalent university level (Bac+4/5).
- Analytical capability with proven proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is a plus.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work autonomously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ease in cross‑functional, international collaboration.
- Keen product sensitivity and genuine interest in luxury fashion; prior merchandising or buying experience/internship is desirable.
