Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor placement sheet provision to suppliers and coordinate distribution of graphic transformation files (screen printing, embroidery, etc.)
  • Manage materials development on designated projects during the second phase of the apprenticeship
  • Pilot the master skin process
  • Deploy processes and tools to ensure availability of master skins for core permanent materials and upcoming innovations
  • Conduct studies on dye management and light resistance with supplier partners in collaboration with Quality and Development teams to meet Louis Vuitton specifications
  • Design and execute experiments measuring humidity impact on leather flexion performance in coordination with Quality and Development teams, formulating recommendations for workshop practices

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bac +5 degree (Master's level) in engineering or equivalent
  • Strong command of English; Italian language knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency with office software (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated interest in leather goods craftsmanship and artisanal techniques
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
