Louis Vuitton in Seoul seeks an Assistant Manager, Repair Workshop to lead CCS technicians and manage repair operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise CCS (Customer Care Service) technicians to ensure repairs meet Louis Vuitton quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and hands‑on support for complex or escalated repair cases.
- Ensure consistent application of repair workflows, quality controls and 5S standards throughout the workshop.
- Monitor productivity, workflow and operational efficiency; identify and implement process improvements.
- Plan and allocate technician workload; manage team performance, development and apprenticeship initiatives.
- Support onboarding, skills development and coaching of technicians and apprentices.
- Collaborate with CCS functions, Repair Coordinator and central teams; provide technical input on repair feasibility and timelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations, repair, production or after‑sales environments.
- Proven people management or team leadership experience (required).
- Experience in logistics, production, repair/service or after‑sales operations; senior technician or technical leadership in leather craftsmanship is a plus.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Demonstrable ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate team workload and performance.
- Understanding of quality standards, operational processes and repair workflows.
- Experience with process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives; workshop organisation and 5S knowledge preferred.
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years' experience in operations or technical roles with at least demonstrated people‑management responsibility. Prior experience as a senior technician or technical lead within repair, leather craftsmanship or after‑sales is advantageous.
Education
Vocational diploma or degree in leathercraft, manufacturing, production technology, or an equivalent technical qualification; relevant apprenticeships or certified trade experience accepted.
