Louis Vuitton — Paris — Assistant Designer, Women's Leather Goods (Internship). Contribute to handbag design, illustrations and prototyping within the Main Collection.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the designer in researching trends, materials and inspirations for women's leather goods collections.
- Contribute to the conception and illustration of pieces, producing technical and expressive sketches.
- Participate in product development cycles, liaising with patternmakers and prototyping teams.
- Provide technical assistance for the realisation of drawings and prototypes, ensuring fidelity to design intent.
- Prepare presentation and technical documents for development meetings and internal reviews.
- Assist, when required, with preparations for women's shows and related presentation activities.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a fashion design, product design or equivalent program with a focus or strong interest in leather goods.
- Demonstrated mastery of technical drawing and fashion illustration.
- Solid knowledge of leather goods construction and accessory vocabulary; modélisme/patternmaking is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; knowledge of Rhinoceros (Rhino) is advantageous.
- Fluent in French; good command of English and/or Italian to work within a multicultural team.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility, creativity, proactivity, team orientation, rigour and organisational skills.

Entry-level internship suitable for students or recent graduates. Prior internships or academic projects in leather goods, accessories or handbag design are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, Accessory Design, or a closely related discipline.

The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
