Louis Vuitton seeks an Assistant Designer for Men's Leather Goods in Paris—internship combining creative design and technical skills.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create photorealistic simulations and visualizations of bags using Adobe Photoshop
- Conduct visual research and develop mood boards for collection concepts and runway presentations
- Produce precise technical drawings for production and manufacturing teams
- Support studio organization and day-to-day management of the design atelier
- Fabricate simple prototypes and assemble paper mock-ups
- Contribute actively to studio initiatives according to individual strengths and competencies
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience or portfolio work in luxury leather goods, accessories, or related fields (RTW, footwear, or eyewear backgrounds welcome)
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision with physical measurements (0.5 mm tolerance)
- Graphic design and typography skills
- Portfolio demonstrating the complete product development cycle from conception to final realization
- Portfolio showcasing technical feasibility and production drawings
Skills
Experience
Entry-level or recent graduate with foundational experience in luxury leather goods, accessories, fashion design, or related creative disciplines. Experience in RTW, footwear, or eyewear design is also valued.
Education
Formation in fashion design, product design, graphic design, or related discipline; portfolio submission required.
