Louis Vuitton internship: Assistant Designer – Event Scenography, Paris. 6-month role creating immersive showroom décor with Rhino & Adobe Creative Suite skills required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in the creation and execution of mood boards for internal events and showroom displays
- Develop and realize décor designs that extend the storytelling of each Louis Vuitton collection
- Execute hand sketches and digital sketches using iPad to communicate design concepts
- Produce 3D models utilizing specialized software, primarily Rhino, with proficiency in spatial proportion and scale
- Create renderings with experience in visualization tools such as Enscape
- Assist the team in researching and identifying materials and suppliers aligned with design specifications
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Monitor compliance with technical constraints and budgetary requirements throughout design and implementation phases
Qualifications
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software, particularly Rhino
- Experience with rendering visualization tools, ideally Enscape
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (required)
- Strong understanding of spatial design principles, scale, and proportion
- Demonstrated ability to design for both architectural elements and furnishings/objects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English
- Portfolio demonstrating scenography, spatial design, volume, or installation projects
- Evidence of creative process including research, sketches, design intent, and conceptual approach
Skills
Experience
Entry-level or beginner experience in design disciplines such as scenography, spatial design, interior design, or architecture is acceptable. Previous project experience demonstrating creative process is valued more highly than formal work history.
Education
Current enrollment in or recent completion of studies in design, architecture, scenography, interior design, or related creative discipline is expected. A portfolio of academic or personal projects is required.
