Louis Vuitton in Cergy (Ile-de-France) seeks an Apprentice Watchmaker (Repairs) — 24-month alternance starting Sept 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work within the Paris Watch Service workshop under the supervision of the workshop manager to support servicing and repairs for the Europe region.
  • Disassemble, clean and reassemble watch components following technical procedures and quality standards.
  • Diagnose faults and identify repair requirements for mechanical and quartz timepieces.
  • Replace batteries and perform movement replacement including dial and hand fitting.
  • Case watches (emboitage) and carry out final controls: water-resistance testing, time regulation and aesthetic finishing.
  • Maintain accurate repair records and follow workshop health, safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

  • Holding or currently enrolled in a CAP (Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle) in Horlogerie / watchmaking or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and aptitude for precision, methodical work and attention to detail.
  • Curiosity, adaptability and the ability to learn technical processes quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude to work within a multifunctional team.
  • Commitment to environmental best practices and to the Maison's sustainability objectives.

Experience

Entry-level / beginner. The position is open to candidates with little or no professional experience provided they hold or are enrolled in a CAP in watchmaking and demonstrate strong technical aptitude.

Education

CAP in Horlogerie (watchmaking) or currently enrolled in an equivalent vocational watchmaking programme.
