Louis Vuitton — Accounts Receivable Accountant in Bangkok. Responsible for AR reconciliation, SAP posting and output tax reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Verify and post accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are captured and correctly reflected in the general ledger.
- Reconcile sales reports and bank statements with the general ledger and coordinate exception resolution.
- Coordinate with sales teams across branches and with banking partners to obtain timely data for daily and monthly AR reconciliations and reporting.
- Record receipts and journal entries into SAP and maintain up-to-date AR records and documentation.
- Prepare and consolidate output tax reports for submission to the Revenue Department and issue sales tax invoices to clients.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors during audits and provide supporting documentation.
- Support month-end closing activities, ad hoc financial assignments and process-improvement initiatives to streamline AR workflows.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and collaborate cross-functionally to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum five years' experience in accounts receivable and general accounting.
- Proven proficiency with SAP and established accounting procedures.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and competency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Solid data-analytic ability and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Effective communication skills in English; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in retail or luxury goods finance is an advantage.
