Role & Responsibilities
- Scan, input, code and post all purchase invoices into SAP for head office and retail stores across the UK, Ireland and South Africa (including Berluti UK).
- Review and validate employee expenses in accordance with the travel and expense policy and process staff reimbursements.
- Manage payments to local and international suppliers, staff expenses and CAPEX invoices from Store Planning, including posting direct debits.
- Prepare and compile treasury information from bank statements to support group reporting.
- Perform monthly intercompany statement reconciliations and supplier reconciliations; review creditors ageing and monitor payment terms to target a 30-day average.
- Prepare the Intrastat report for Ireland on a monthly basis.
- Create and maintain supplier and employee records in the SAP vendor master in line with internal control requirements.
- Respond to supplier enquiries and liaise with store managers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Support internal and external audit requests and contribute to AP process controls.
- Drive accounts payable process efficiency and accuracy; undertake special projects and ad hoc missions as defined by the manager.
- Maintain filing and administration of invoices and expense documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounts payable role, ideally within retail or multi-jurisdictional operations.
- Proven expertise with ERP systems, specifically SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience preparing Intrastat declarations and performing intercompany reconciliations.
- Sound knowledge of accounts payable controls, supplier master data creation and payment processing.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a fluctuating workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills to build effective internal and external relationships.
- Team-oriented, proactive and able to work on-site in London.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounts payable experience, with exposure to multi-country supplier payments and reconciliations. Prior experience in luxury retail or head-office finance teams is advantageous.
Education
A-levels or equivalent; degree in accounting/finance or a professional accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
