Accounting Intern at Louis Vuitton in Munich – manage accounts receivable and payable for 6-12 months in a luxury fashion environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process financial transactions including POS system flows to bank clearing and reconcile daily deposits
  • Manage accounts receivable including customer refunds, payment system access, and discrepancy resolution for cash and credit card payments
  • Reconcile all accounts receivable and maintain payment documentation
  • Support accounts payable operations ensuring correct invoice receipt in compliance with GAAP and e-invoicing standards
  • Manage payment notices and open items while maintaining supplier master data
  • Process travel expense reports and resolve discrepancies with payment providers, stores, and e-commerce teams
  • Provide cross-functional support on project-related tasks and assist colleagues as needed

Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • In-depth experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
  • Knowledge of invoice processing in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and e-invoicing
  • Extended experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (modules FI/CO/MM)
  • Strong knowledge of Purchase Order Management
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and sense of responsibility
