Louis Vuitton seeks an Accounting Assistant in Istanbul to support financial operations, tax compliance, and invoicing—SAP and English fluency required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure all end-of-day documents are fully signed and compliant with internal retail procedures; coordinate with store management to resolve missing signatures and documentation gaps
  • Analyze discrepancies in end-of-day reports and conduct follow-ups with store management to identify root causes across payment methods
  • Update daily foreign exchange rates within the XAdmin system within strictly defined timeframes
  • Support the preparation of monthly tax declarations (VAT, Withholding Tax, Stamp Tax) by verifying General Ledger accounts and maintaining strong VAT regulatory knowledge
  • Perform routine invoice bookings in SAP and ensure all entries align with the Chart of Accounts
  • Audit employee expense forms to ensure compliance with company travel and representation policies
  • Support invoicing processes via Gutenberg and Verify platforms, including export invoicing for LV Türkiye and customs documentation accuracy
  • Manage follow-up communications between the Airport, Customs, and the finance department
  • Conduct regular account reconciliations with suppliers to ensure balance accuracy
  • Prepare monthly statistical reports for management and local authorities; organize physical and digital financial documents and manage relationships with external archiving services

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, with demonstrated experience in SAP financial modules
  • Proven ability in high-volume invoice entry with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and Turkish tax legislation
  • Very good command of English in both written and verbal communication
  • Skilled in expense form controls and corporate expense compliance auditing

Experience
