Louis Vuitton — Accounting Advisor (contrato de prácticas) internship in Madrid Head Office, supporting accounting for Spain & Portugal.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Mediterranean accounting team (Spain & Portugal) and report to the Accounting Manager.
- Archive and review sales documentation received from stores to ensure compliance with internal control standards.
- Manage the regional generic inbox for supplier invoices: receive invoices, liaise with PO creators on validations and workflow approvals, and follow up outstanding items.
- Book supplier invoices and other payables in the accounting system.
- Confirm daily bank transfers to stores and assist with cash reconciliation communications (notably with El Corte Inglés stores).
- Create and maintain supplier master data (ES10 and PT10) in SAP in collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure a clean database.
- Assist month-end close activities and prepare monthly regulatory and internal reports (including Banco de España reporting).
- Support month-end reporting packages covering sales, treasury and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Contribute to the preparation of external audits and perform ad hoc administrative tasks for the accounting department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; degree must have been obtained within the last 3 years to be eligible for a contrato de prácticas.
- Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.
- Strong Excel proficiency and good computer literacy.
- Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work under deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Experience
Recent graduate profile: professional experience is not required. Prior internships or up to 1–2 years’ experience in accounting or finance functions is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (degree obtained within the last 3 years to meet contrato de prácticas eligibility).
