Louis Vuitton — Temporary Accountant in Geneva (part-time). Support Central Europe AP/AR, vendor master data and month-end close.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage vendor master data and the vendor creation process for the Central Europe region (Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic).
- Support accounts payable staff with invoice processing and dispute resolution.
- Assist accounts receivable colleagues with account reconciliations and document classification.
- Clean and maintain the contracts database to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly closing activities, including preparation of supporting schedules and exception reports.
- Prepare and review exception reports and escalate discrepancies to the Head of Accounting.
- Work autonomously and proactively to meet tight deadlines and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- University degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in an accounting department within an international environment.
- Fluent in English and French (both mandatory).
- Proven advanced proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel.
- Service-oriented approach with strong customer focus and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in retail accounting and/or Big Four audit is a strong advantage.
Skills
Experience
Minimum five years of progressively responsible accounting experience within an international organisation; prior exposure to retail finance operations and/or Big Four audit engagements is desirable. Demonstrated experience using SAP in transactional and month-end activities is required.
Education
University degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
