Louis Vuitton — Accountant in Brussels. Permanent full-time role supporting Benelux & Nordics accounting, IFRS reporting and store operational accounting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and complete accounting records for assigned countries, including sales and bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, accounts payable, accruals and payroll bookings in collaboration with third-party providers.
  • Monitor and control fixed assets and manage CAPEX activation and related accounting entries.
  • Prepare and file local VAT and Intrastat declarations and respond to local statistical requests.
  • Act as primary finance contact for assigned countries to monitor cash issues and resolve operational queries from stores.
  • Participate actively in the monthly and quarterly close process and prepare reporting to the EMEA zone in accordance with IFRS.
  • Produce ad-hoc analyses and management reports to support operational decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within retail or a multi-country corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Strong command of English; proficiency in French or Dutch is an advantage and knowledge of Nordic languages is valued.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrable analytical aptitude, strong organizational skills and ownership of deliverables under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, flexible and able to take initiative in a small, dynamic team.

Experience
