Loro Piana in Milan seeks a Wholesale Merchandising Intern — hybrid internship supporting wholesale planning, collection briefs and showroom operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to monitor wholesale business trends by market and business line and translate findings into actionable commercial insights.
- Support the preparation of collection briefing documents that synthesise major business trends and market-specific needs to inform assortment and buying decisions.
- Monitor collection development and support blind-order planning and allocation across wholesale channels.
- Prepare presentations and buying guidelines to communicate business highlights and commercial priorities to Wholesale teams and partners.
- Coordinate with product rooms and internal teams to organise Wholesale showroom presentations and act as a reference during sales campaigns for product requests, opening codes and client needs.
- Manage and coordinate central back-stock distribution to wholesale partners.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Marketing Management, International Business or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent spoken and written English and Italian; additional European languages are a plus.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical interest and an affinity for numbers and reporting.
- Proactive, dynamic, and highly relational with demonstrated teamworking and client-facing capabilities.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the luxury industry and an interest in merchandising and wholesale operations.
