Loro Piana seeks a Visual Operations Manager in New York to lead window installations, pop‑ups and VM operations across channels.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of global and local special window concepts, pop-ups, pop‑ins, collection events and store openings, coordinating calendars, technical drawings, abacus reviews and onsite rollouts.
- Manage vendor selection and partnerships: develop RFPs, negotiate scopes, oversee local production and facilitate installation logistics and on-site execution where required.
- Define and implement local window upcycle and placement strategies in accordance with global guidelines, coordinating timelines and logistics with cross‑functional teams.
- Own departmental budgets: prepare, monitor and reconcile monthly expenditures with finance and participate in annual budget revisions.
- Collaborate closely with Visual Merchandising, Communications, Merchandising, Store Planning and Logistics to produce VM installation guides, fixtures, imagery and tool orders for retail and wholesale events.
- Coordinate CSR creative donations in partnership with finance and local store teams following global protocols.
- Develop and distribute local VM guidelines and ensure global/local operational requests are completed accurately and on time.
- Support field VM teams during select installations, store openings and collection events and maintain clear, efficient communication channels across stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in window and creative management, visual merchandising operations or special event coordination within luxury retail.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- Proven experience managing budgets, vendor relationships and complex cross‑border production projects.
- Strong organisational aptitude with the ability to prioritise multiple concurrent projects and maintain strict timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across global teams.

Minimum five years of progressive experience in retail visual merchandising, window management and event production, ideally within a luxury fashion house or high‑end retailer.
