Loro Piana seeks experienced Tailor in Borgosesia, Italy to execute bespoke alterations and repairs upholding premium craftsmanship standards. Minimum 3 years required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Modify garments to enhance fit, style, or functionality according to client specifications and Loro Piana standards
- Repair damaged clothing including darning, patching, zipper replacement, button re-attachment, and component substitution
- Operate industrial sewing machines, pressing equipment, and specialist tailoring tools with precision
- Maintain exacting quality standards throughout all garment transformation processes
- Collaborate with the personalisation team during client consultations when required
- Ensure all completed products comply with applicable industry regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tailoring, alterations, or garment repair
- Mastery of both hand-stitching and machine-sewing techniques
- Proficiency in garment care processes including specialist washing and pressing
- Fluent English language capabilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and superior manual dexterity

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in tailoring, garment modification, or artisanal sewing roles
Education
Technical training in tailoring, apparel construction, or equivalent hands-on apprenticeship programme recognised within the fashion industry

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 40,000 per annum.
