Loro Piana seeks a Supply Chain Auditor in Milan to lead supplier capacity audits and ESG-aligned industrial assessments; travel up to 80%.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and report on industrial capacity audits across the supplier network in line with corporate standards and business priorities.
- Execute on-site capacity and production capability assessments to verify the accuracy and adequacy of suppliers' declared capacities versus assignable production volumes.
- Evaluate suppliers' industrial maturity using the maison's maturity grid, identify critical gaps and define corrective and improvement plans.
- Identify non-conformities and operational risks; prepare clear findings and recommended remediation actions to mitigate risk exposure.
- Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions and verify effectiveness over time.
- Contribute to the continual enhancement of audit methodologies, tools and capacity-assessment techniques.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to compliance, ESG and operational excellence, representing capacity-audit perspectives.
- Ensure audits promote adherence to the Group's Code of Ethics and sustainability standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' proven experience in internal operational/industrial audits within fashion/luxury, or in a Big Four firm with a focus on operational/ESG audits.
- Hands-on background in industrialization, Time & Methods, or Supplier Quality Engineering is required; prior production or supply chain experience is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrable knowledge of manufacturing processes and end-to-end supply chain dynamics, ideally within consumer goods or luxury apparel/leather.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and prioritisation skills with a structured, pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Fluent Italian; willingness to travel up to 80% (primarily within Italy).

At least 5 years of experience in operational or industrial audit roles within the fashion/luxury sector or a Big Four advisory environment, with demonstrated exposure to supplier audits, industrialisation or supplier quality functions. Prior manufacturing or supply-chain operational experience is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related technical discipline; a master's degree or relevant professional certification in auditing/quality is preferred.
