Loro Piana is hiring a Supplier Quality Specialist — Footwear in Porto San Giorgio, Italy. Mid-level, full-time role overseeing supplier audits and quality improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and support quality activities across the internal and external footwear supply chain, ensuring conformity to product and process standards.
- Drive reduction of second-choice / non-conforming parts through targeted corrective actions and supplier engagement.
- Design, implement and monitor data-driven self-inspection and autocontrol flows with suppliers.
- Plan and execute process and manufacturing audits (including joint audits with technical teams) and product testing verifications.
- Participate actively in cross-functional problem-solving sessions to address recurring defects and root causes.
- Monitor quality KPIs and trends, produce reports and present findings to stakeholders to enable continuous improvement.
- Contribute to risk analysis for collections and update risk factors and weighting during product development and Go Style preparation.
- Lead continuous improvement projects in production to enhance product quality and supplier performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience in quality assurance / supplier quality management, ideally in footwear, fashion, or regulated manufacturing industries (e.g. automotive, pharmaceutical).
- Solid understanding of the full product lifecycle, including production processes and manufacturing constraints.
- Proven experience in process auditing, problem solving and driving supplier corrective actions.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in preparing quality reports and presentations.
- Fluent written and spoken English; working knowledge of French is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all organisational levels and with external suppliers.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing quality assurance processes and supplier quality activities, preferably within footwear, fashion/leather goods, or other high-standard manufacturing sectors such as automotive or pharmaceutical.
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, industrial engineering, quality management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in supplier quality.
