Loro Piana seeks a Store Manager for its Kuala Lumpur boutique to lead sales performance, client relationships, CRM, team development and store operations, including visual merchandising, stockroom management and safety. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent the corporate image and ensure the team reflects the Brand DNA.
- Optimize overall sales performance by delivering results through consistent execution of the selling Galateo and operational standards.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify business opportunities and initiatives that improve sales and promote new products in line with company objectives and policies.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction through effective team management.
- Recruit new customers, retain existing customers and develop potential customers.
- Manage CRM KPIs and ensure customer data is appropriately collected to support CRM reporting and strategy.
- Manage and motivate the team by fostering a positive work environment, empowering team members and encouraging innovative solutions.
- Provide ongoing coaching, identify development and training needs, and partner with Retail Excellence to tailor individual action plans.
- Support the team's professional growth, product knowledge and training; keep staff up to date on the luxury industry and share development plans with the Retail Director.
- Set achievable yet challenging team and individual targets, and assess, monitor and manage performance to ensure goals are achieved.
- Keep the team informed about store performance using the tools agreed with the Retail Director.
- Organize daily opening activities and ensure the store complies with visual and maintenance guidelines, including product presentation, visual merchandising installations, maintenance, and organization of the retail space and back office.
- Oversee visual merchandising practices and standards, ensuring store windows, displays, and the store and product image comply with corporate and Central Visual Merchandising guidelines.
- Stay familiar with all store operations activities and delegate their execution when appropriate.
- Ensure security and Health & Safety procedures are properly implemented.
- Manage and care for products and materials in the stockroom.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years' work experience in a luxury goods business in complex and international environments.
- Passion for and high motivation to represent Loro Piana products and the brand.
- Solid leadership skills, including listening, motivating, coaching and developing others, and delegation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and leveraging a network.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office; SAP Retail experience is preferred, along with experience using reporting tools.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is a strong plus.
