Loro Piana seeks a Store Manager in East Hampton, NY to lead sales, operations and client development for its East Hampton boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive store sales and profitability by analysing performance metrics, implementing action plans and ensuring achievement of quantitative targets.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to identify and convert client and Very Important Client (VIC) opportunities while representing an elevated brand image.
- Lead, coach and mentor the store team; delegate responsibilities, provide performance feedback and create individual career development plans.
- Recruit and onboard new team members in partnership with HR, and conduct regular team meetings to align on priorities and performance.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, cycle counts, stock consolidations and fiscal inventory.
- Manage after-sales operations—alterations, repairs and spare parts—and ensure best-in-class client service through the post-purchase process.
- Control store expenses and contribute to profit & loss management by optimising shipping/receiving costs, supplies and alteration budgets.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, safety procedures, visual merchandising guidelines and internal administrative processes.
- Maintain the stockroom and inventory accuracy; proactively communicate to mitigate business risks and operational issues.
- Coordinate with retail leaders and cross-functional partners to align on sales objectives, market trends and competitive positioning.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of management and sales experience in a luxury retail environment.
- Proven ability to lead a high-performing, high-volume store team with demonstrated coaching and development skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP and other retail digital tools.
- Excellent verbal communication, analytical, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
- Availability to work weekends and travel as required; ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.

Experience
Minimum 5+ years of progressive management and sales experience within luxury retail, including leadership of a high-volume store, client development and operational accountability.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of retail/management experience and demonstrated leadership in luxury retail.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is USD 150,000 per annum.
