Loro Piana is hiring a Store Manager in Costa Mesa, CA to lead boutique sales, operations and team development at its luxury boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all store sales activities to achieve quantitative targets, analyse key performance metrics and implement action plans to optimise business opportunities.
- Develop and execute VIP/VIC initiatives and deliver exemplary luxury service during high-stakes client interactions.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and inform local merchandising and stock allocation.
- Recruit, coach and develop the store team; create career development plans, conduct performance management and lead regular team meetings.
- Manage daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, strategic scheduling, cycle counts, stock consolidations and fiscal inventory.
- Oversee after‑sales processes (alterations, repairs, spare parts) and ensure timely resolution of client requests.
- Control store expenses and contribute to profit & loss management, optimising expenditure for shipping, supplies and alterations.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, safety procedures and corporate policies; report facilities and maintenance issues to guarantee store safety and functionality.
- Maintain alignment with corporate visual merchandising guidelines and manage stockroom operations to maximise sales potential.
- Communicate proactively with retail leadership and cross‑functional partners to mitigate business risks and ensure alignment on priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of management and sales experience in a luxury retail environment, with a proven record of driving results in a high‑volume boutique.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a multi‑disciplinary retail team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP; comfortable using digital retail tools and reporting systems.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and experience in inventory and P&L management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high professionalism and discretion in client relationships.
- Availability to work weekends and travel as required; ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience in luxury retail.
