Loro Piana seeks an experienced Stitching Operator to execute upper stitching and hemming operations for luxury women's and men's footwear. The successful candidate will demonstrate precision and attention to detail using industrial sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques, maintaining the brand's exacting quality standards whilst fostering professional growth and knowledge-sharing within the manufacturing team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute hemming and stitching operations on varied luxury footwear styles using industrial sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques
- Perform upper preparation and stitching across different shoe typologies, ensuring precision and alignment with luxury brand positioning
- Maintain meticulous quality control throughout all phases of upper production, adhering to technical specifications and timing requirements
- Contribute actively to the preservation and elevation of the maison's quality standards through consistent craftsmanship
- Share technical expertise and best practices with team members to foster a collaborative, knowledge-driven production environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of documented experience in upper manufacturing or footwear production
- Proven expertise in luxury women's and men's footwear stitching and hemming techniques
- In-depth knowledge of luxury materials, product specifications, and upper construction
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machinery and hand-stitching tools specific to footwear production
- Demonstrated ability to maintain precision and consistency whilst working to tight production schedules
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in upper manufacturing within luxury footwear production. The candidate must possess consolidated knowledge of stitching techniques specific to the luxury women's and men's footwear segment, alongside proficiency with materials, production tools, and quality standards.
Education
Technical training in footwear manufacturing or textile production is preferred; formal educational qualifications are secondary to demonstrated professional experience and mastery of stitching techniques.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 25,000 per annum.
