Loro Piana seeks Shoe Upper Preparation Supervisor in Porto San Giorgio, Italy; oversee luxury footwear upper finishing and prototyping.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform preparation and edging of shoe uppers for prototypes, samples, and initial production series
- Participate in prototype industrialization and scaling processes
- Establish priorities and ensure adherence to production deadlines
- Collaborate with pattern makers to implement technical and qualitative product improvements
- Inspect semi-finished materials throughout the production cycle
- Verify compliance with quality standards and production timelines
- Manage and organize departmental resources and workflows
- Liaise with other production departments to propose solutions to operational challenges
- Conduct regular visits to external upper manufacturers for technical and quality alignment
Qualifications
