Loro Piana seeks a Senior Merchandising Specialist in Hong Kong to support Asia Pacific retail operations across Women's luxury categories.
Role & Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain comprehensive performance reports (sales, sell-through, and inventory levels) to support rationalized business decision-making
- Assist the merchandising manager with daily operational execution, ensuring absolute data accuracy in reporting files, master data, and internal systems
- Support stock allocations, store-to-store transfers, and seasonal consolidations; monitor warehouse and store inventory to maintain optimal stock architecture
- Participate in international buying trips to Milan and regional markets; support seasonal buying campaigns, manage order entry, and execute structured post-campaign follow-ups including sizing confirmations, delivery tracking, and timely collection rollouts
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between Merchandising, Planning & Allocation, Visual Merchandising, Retail Excellence, Marketing, Retail Operations, and Logistics; proactively support retail needs and maintain coordination with headquarters
- Prepare analytical tools and templates for seasonal buying sessions; collect retail feedback and build holistic product intelligence reports to shape regional strategy
Qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of experience in merchandising and buying, preferably in Women's luxury fashion categories
- Demonstrated expertise participating in overseas buying sessions, managing buying campaigns, executing orders, and driving post-campaign follow-ups
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake frequent international travel to Milan and regional markets for buying sessions and operational alignment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical analysis capabilities
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate logically in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- Highly structured approach to managing administrative tasks and operational projects with meticulous attention to detail
Skills
Experience
6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in merchandising and buying within luxury fashion, with proven expertise in Women's categories and substantive involvement in overseas buying sessions and campaign management.
Education
Minimum secondary education; tertiary qualifications in business, fashion merchandising, retail management, or related discipline are advantageous.
