Loro Piana in Rome seeks a Retail Sales Intern to support boutique sales, merchandising and client experience. On-site internship in Rome.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients on the shop floor, delivering a personalised luxury customer experience in line with Loro Piana standards.
- Support the complete sales cycle, including selling, post-sales follow-up and client file maintenance.
- Contribute to visual merchandising and upkeep of the boutique’s presentation to ensure brand image consistency.
- Manage stock operations, receive and handle merchandise, and assist with back-office administrative tasks.
- Assist in planning, preparing and executing in-store events and client appointments.
- Work collaboratively with the store team to meet daily operational objectives and maintain boutique standards.
Qualifications
- Current study or recent degree in Fashion, Retail, Economics, Communications or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in the luxury sector with meticulous attention to detail and presentation.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with high-net-worth clients.
- Proactive, curious and team-oriented attitude with a professional demeanour.
- Good command of English; additional languages considered an advantage.
- Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends and peak retail periods.

Entry-level (beginner). No prior professional experience required; previous customer-facing or retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Education in Fashion, Retail, Economics, Communication or a related field (student or recent graduate preferred).
