Loro Piana seeks experienced Retail Operations Specialist in Seoul to drive operational excellence across store network.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day retail operations across the store network, ensuring operational consistency and efficiency
- Maintain store operational information and system data, including opening hours and appointment booking functionality
- Develop and improve local operational policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures in alignment with headquarters standards
- Manage store operational requirements, including refreshments, supplies, maintenance, uniforms, packaging, and other store-related needs
- Coordinate with headquarters, regional teams, office functions, stores, and external vendors to address operational issues and implement improvements
- Act as a key operational bridge between headquarters, regional teams, local functions, and the store network
- Localise global guidelines and initiatives, consolidate store feedback, and communicate local operational needs and improvement opportunities to headquarters
- Develop and maintain retail operations training, induction materials, and operational resources for stores
- Coordinate cycle counts and fiscal counts to maintain inventory accuracy and minimise shrinkage
- Manage store operational audits and self-audit programmes, including store checklists, documentation standards, and corrective action follow-up
- Monitor sensitive transactions to ensure compliance with company policies
- Support internal and corporate audits and follow up on operational findings and corrective actions
- Support the rollout and adoption of global retail tools and systems, including POS mobile, store manager dashboard, and traffic counters
- Monitor system adoption and operational data, identify improvement opportunities, and coordinate troubleshooting with headquarters, IT, and relevant partners
- Develop localised guidelines and deliver training to support effective implementation across stores
- Manage retail operations budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, invoices, and recurring operational expenses
- Manage external vendors, including quotations, service quality, cost control, and operational improvements
- Develop and maintain store expense and purchasing guidelines
- Support new store openings, relocations, pop-ups, and renovation projects, ensuring operational readiness
- Review and improve back-office layouts, stock organisation, and operational workflows in coordination with headquarters and relevant teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the luxury retail industry
- Strong alignment with brand identity and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to ensure timely and accurate communication across departments
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
