Loro Piana seeks Retail Merchandising Planning Senior Specialist in Milan. EUR 40,000 annual salary, full-time permanent role supporting EMEA planning and forecasting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support seasonal and monthly forecasting activities for all product offerings, ensuring accuracy and consistency across planning systems
- Prepare and maintain forecasting files while monitoring variance performance to identify risks and commercial opportunities
- Conduct weekly and monthly business analysis covering sales, inventory, sell-through, sell-out, and product performance across all categories
- Monitor key merchandising KPIs and prepare regular performance updates for management and buying sessions
- Identify bestsellers, slow-moving items, and emerging product trends through advanced data analysis
- Prepare presentations and reports for business reviews, buying sessions, and executive meetings
- Collaborate with Retail, Supply Chain, and Headquarters Merchandising teams to align planning data with strategic priorities
- Support ad hoc analyses related to store performance, category productivity, and assortment optimization initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes, planning tools, and analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in merchandising, planning, business analysis, buying, or retail analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with demonstrated attention to detail
- Experience with planning systems such as Anaplan (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in merchandising, planning, business analysis, buying, or retail analysis within the fashion or luxury retail sector, with demonstrated proficiency in financial and commercial analytics.
Education
