Loro Piana Retail Merchandising Intern in Milan, Italy – 6-month curricular internship supporting sales analysis, forecasting, and retail strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze business performance metrics including sell-thru, sell-in, sell-out, bestsellers, and slow movers across assigned categories and channels
- Monitor daily sales and stock levels, providing actionable insights and supporting forecast optimization across retail channels
- Support seasonal sales campaigns by developing merchandising guidelines for regional teams and ensuring consistency with brand strategy
- Participate in order revisions with regional merchandisers, providing ongoing support to local teams during selling campaigns
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Collection Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Planning, Supply Chain) to address retail needs and align commercial objectives
- Contribute to assortment revision processes, briefing document preparation, and retail presentation development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics or Management Engineering
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office package
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated passion for quantitative and qualitative performance analysis
- Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and adaptability
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, precision, and meticulous attention to detail
