Loro Piana Retail Merchandising Internship in Milan – 6-month curricular role in merchandising analysis and sales forecasting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse business performance of assigned categories and channels using sell-thru, sell-in, sell-out, and key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making
- Monitor daily sales and stock levels, elaborate forecasts and projections, and recommend transfers, cancellations, and replenishments to optimise inventory across channels
- Provide insights and analysis to support sales campaigns, contributing to merchandising guidelines for regional teams and ensuring consistency with brand strategy
- Participate in seasonal order revisions with regional merchandisers and provide ongoing support to local teams during selling campaigns
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Collection Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Planning, and Supply Chain to fulfil retail requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics or Management Engineering
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office package
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated passion for the luxury sector
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional language an asset
