Loro Piana Research & Purchasing Specialist – Yarns in Ghemme, Italy. EUR 30,000 annual base, full-time hybrid.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the style office to identify and develop innovative yarns aligned with men's and women's collections
- Manage the reconfirmation of continuous yarns and oversee seasonal color variations across different material types
- Follow the entire lifecycle of yarns from conception and prototyping through sample completion
- Manage material codifications to ensure an efficient traceability system
- Place orders for materials required for prototyping and sampling, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor deliveries and verify the quality of materials ordered for prototyping and sampling
- Ensure proper handoff of yarns and detailed information to production teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the yarns or textile sector
- In-depth technical knowledge of yarn materials and specifications
- Fluent English proficiency
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office suite
- Preferred: knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and Project Management software

Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in the yarns, textiles, or related fashion materials sector, with demonstrated technical knowledge of fiber sourcing and material development.
