Role & Responsibilities
- Define and update supplier price lists
- Negotiate and validate pricing and minimum order quantities with suppliers
- Issue and release purchase orders for raw materials within established timelines
- Monitor daily and weekly order progress and delivery status for raw materials
- Manage and update order confirmations
- Collaborate with Production and Planning teams to prioritize product launches and operational requirements
- Manage vendor relationships and follow up on delayed shipments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or related scientific discipline
- Preferred: minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite
- Preferred: experience with SAP and AS400 systems
- Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management capabilities
- Results-oriented with demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Fluent English language proficiency
