Six-month internship with Loro Piana in Porto San Giorgio, Italy: support Production Planning & Control operations, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement production plans ensuring resource optimization and alignment with company objectives
- Monitor production progress and adapt plans based on demand variations and market requirements
- Analyze demand patterns, identify trends, and assess seasonality impacts
- Establish production priorities based on commercial needs and resource availability
- Prepare summaries and reporting deliverables for stakeholder review
- Ensure timely product deliveries according to the Go-To-Market calendar
- Plan restocks, capsule collections, events, uniforms, and PR/VIC garments to address commercial requests
- Monitor raw material inventory levels and optimize replenishment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient flow of materials and finished goods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and critical thinking capability
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Professional fluency in English
