Loro Piana seeks a Production Planning & Control Intern in Porto San Giorgio, Italy to support production planning, inventory control and reporting (6‑month internship).
Role & Responsibilities
- Support definition and execution of production plans to optimise resources and meet commercial objectives.
- Monitor production progress and update schedules in response to demand fluctuations and market signals.
- Prepare consolidated summaries and regular reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Analyse demand patterns, seasonality and sales trends to inform planning decisions.
- Set production priorities according to commercial requirements and resource availability.
- Coordinate planning for restocks, capsules, events, uniforms and PR/VIP garments to satisfy ad hoc commercial requests.
- Ensure on-time deliveries aligned with the Go‑To‑Market calendar and campaign timelines.
- Monitor raw material inventory levels and support optimisation of replenishment processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, commercial teams) to secure efficient material and finished-goods flows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint.
- Analytical mindset with close attention to detail and sound critical-thinking abilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate across functions.
- Proficiency in English.

Beginner — suitable for recent graduates or final‑year master/bachelor students; prior internships in planning, supply chain or operations are a plus but not required.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline.
