Loro Piana in Impruneta, Italy seeks a Production Control Specialist (Leather Goods) to manage production planning, supplier coordination and KPI reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and release production work orders in the company ERP and manage the dispatch of materials to subcontractors
- Monitor and report production progress, maintaining accurate order-date data in the management system
- Liaise with external subcontractors to set and manage production priorities; perform site visits to monitor advance and resolve issues
- Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely arrival of materials and uninterrupted production flow
- Prepare and update concise production progress reports and weekly KPI dashboards
- Manage invoicing related to subcontracted production and follow-up on administrative issues
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in production planning within leather goods / luxury leather manufacturing
- Proven proficiency with SAP
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with reporting tools (Business Object)
- Fluent English
- High level of precision, strong analytical skills, and demonstrated problem‑solving attitude
- Availability for regular travel to subcontractor sites

At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in production planning or production control within the leather goods or luxury accessories sector.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
