Loro Piana seeks a Product Operations Assistant in Milan to support product development operations on a temporary maternity cover basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate actively with the Product Team during garment quality control and pairing definition to ensure accurate and timely completion of bills of materials
- Create orders for garments and semi-finished products, launch orders, and monitor material shipments to suppliers
- Verify finished garments against the bill of materials to ensure conformity and specification compliance
- Request and input costs into the PLM system by opening cost scenarios
- Review, verify, and process invoicing documentation for finished garments
- Validate codes related to packaging and pop-up collections
- Execute administrative tasks in support of the product operations team
- Monitor and track departmental budget allocation and expenditure
- Input and maintain pricing information in system databases
Qualifications
- Experience in the fashion, luxury goods, or related sectors preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
- Familiarity with SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning software
- Strong attention to detail and quality control orientation
Skills
Experience
Experience in the fashion industry or related sectors is preferred; candidates with foundational knowledge of product development processes are encouraged to apply.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in fashion, business administration, or supply chain management is advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 27,000 per annum.
