Loro Piana seeks a Procurement Intern in New York to support supplier engagement, contract management, and bidding processes for small-scale projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers in alignment with specific project requirements, ensuring optimal selection and value
- Support the bidding process for small-scale projects, including comprehensive documentation management, archiving, and vendor coordination
- Prepare and process purchase orders and related procurement documentation in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain and update procurement records, contract files, and supplier databases by category to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Contribute to supplier relationship management initiatives to foster long-term, strategic partnerships
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization
- Assist with contract administration, compliance verification, and adherence to internal procurement policies
- Analyze procurement spend data to identify and recommend cost optimization strategies
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Procurement Senior Manager to support departmental objectives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and proactive attitude toward learning
- Eligible to work in the United States

Experience
Entry-level experience or academic coursework in procurement, supply chain, or business administration preferred. Beginner-level candidates with strong organizational skills and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.
