Loro Piana seeks a Procurement Intern in New York to support supplier engagement, contract management, and bidding processes for small-scale projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers in alignment with specific project requirements, ensuring optimal selection and value
  • Support the bidding process for small-scale projects, including comprehensive documentation management, archiving, and vendor coordination
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and related procurement documentation in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintain and update procurement records, contract files, and supplier databases by category to ensure accuracy and accessibility
  • Contribute to supplier relationship management initiatives to foster long-term, strategic partnerships
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization
  • Assist with contract administration, compliance verification, and adherence to internal procurement policies
  • Analyze procurement spend data to identify and recommend cost optimization strategies
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Procurement Senior Manager to support departmental objectives
