Loro Piana seeks a Procurement Intern in New York. Support supplier engagement, contract management, and bidding processes in this full-time fashion internship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers in alignment with specific project requirements, ensuring optimal selection and value
- Support the bidding process for small-scale projects, including comprehensive documentation management, archiving, and effective vendor coordination
- Prepare and process purchase orders and related procurement documentation in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain and update procurement records, contract files, and supplier databases by category to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Contribute to supplier relationship management initiatives to foster long-term, strategic partnerships
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization
- Assist with contract administration, compliance verification, and adherence to internal procurement policies
- Analyze procurement spend data to identify and recommend cost optimization strategies
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Procurement Senior Manager to support departmental objectives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- High attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning
- Eligible to work in the United States

Experience
Beginner level; no prior professional procurement experience required. Academic coursework in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement is preferred.
Education
