Loro Piana Process Engineering Internship in Ghemme, Italy. Six-month on-site internship supporting manufacturing optimization and continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance production processes using Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Optimize factory layout and workflow design to maximize operational efficiency
- Ensure production processes meet established quality standards and specifications
- Create, refine, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and production standards
- Analyze data and monitor performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Enhance processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and advance sustainability objectives
- Provide comprehensive process documentation and operational work instructions
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical capabilities and data interpretation skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving orientation and goal-driven mindset
- Good command of English language
