Loro Piana is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage store operations, merchandise logistics, inventory, and replenishment in San Diego. The role leads and develops back-of-house staff, oversees shipment processing and stock control, and supports operational efficiency. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and develop back-of-house staff responsible for store operations and merchandise logistics through coaching and feedback.
- Partner with team members and retail leaders to align inventory needs and replenishment with sales potential.
- Optimize inventory management and operational processes, overseeing accurate shipment and transfer processing.
- Oversee merchandise movement from the back of house to the sales floor and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Conduct cycle counts according to the corporate calendar, verify product quantities, report discrepancies promptly, and perform regular product-condition audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve back-of-house functions and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on performance management, providing constructive feedback and guidance to team members.
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Maintain clean, neat, and organized stockrooms with appropriate labeling to support sales.
- Manage reservations and consignments, resolving issues in accordance with company guidelines.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of operational management experience, preferably in luxury retail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of operations and inventory control.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
