Loro Piana seeks an Operations Supervisor in Palo Alto, CA to manage back‑of‑house operations and inventory control.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of back‑of‑house associates, delivering coaching, feedback and performance management to sustain high operational standards.
- Oversee receipt, processing and allocation of shipments and transfers, ensuring accurate logging and timely distribution to the sales floor.
- Manage inventory control processes including cycle counts, audits and discrepancy reporting in accordance with corporate calendar and standards.
- Optimize stockroom workflows and back‑of‑house procedures to improve efficiency and product availability aligned to sales potential.
- Coordinate reservations and consignments, resolving issues within company guidelines and maintaining accurate records.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures and housekeeping standards to maintain a secure, organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of operational management experience, preferably within luxury retail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP; comfortable adopting other digital retail tools.
- Demonstrable leadership and team development skills with a focus on coaching and performance feedback.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting and back‑of‑house logistics.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 40 pounds and perform physical stockroom duties.

Experience
At least three years of supervisory or operational management experience in retail; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or certification in business, logistics or retail operations preferred.
