The Operations Specialist supports Loro Piana’s store operations through shipment processing, inventory control, stockroom organization, and product replenishment, while keeping the sales team informed of availability. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Optimize inventory flow and streamline operational processes, accurately processing shipments and transfers.
- Manage merchandise movement from the stockroom to the sales floor and maintain inventory levels aligned with sales potential.
- Conduct cycle counts according to the corporate calendar, verify product quantities, report discrepancies promptly, and audit product condition regularly.
- Support security measures through inspections and audits, and prepare products for display.
- Organize inventory according to company procedures and optimize warehouse layout for sales-team accessibility.
- Keep stockrooms clean, neat, organized, and properly labeled to facilitate sales.
- Communicate with the operations team and external couriers to ensure accurate shipping procedures and timely delivery.
- Provide the sales team with detailed inventory-availability updates to support the sales process and sales performance.
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, replenish products on the sales floor, and organize inventory to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain stockroom conditions in line with Loro Piana standards and support seamless store operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of operations and inventory control.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- At least 3 years of operational and inventory experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
